TEPCO shuts down nuclear reactor over power leak

OKUMA, Fukushima -- Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) shut down a nuclear reactor at its Fukushima No. 1 plant Wednesday after detecting a power leak in emergency equipment, company officials said.

Officials said electricity was found to have leaked from an emergency decompression device in the core of one of the reactors at the plant.
