Japan and India agreed Thursday to launch bilateral ministerial talks to discuss energy-related problems in a comprehensive manner and to hold the first meeting in India in the middle of next year, Japanese government officials said. The agreement came during a meeting between Japanese Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Akira Amari and visiting Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
